Italian decedent, born and raised in Sao Paulo State, Brazil, moved to China in 2012 and living in Shenzhen since then.
Started designing musical instruments since 2007, the first project was a Brazilian flute locally called as “Pífaro“, usually made of bamboo with no mouthpiece. Ronald’s improvements came by using aluminum body for a more mellow sound, and designing a special mouthpiece, making it easily playable. The instrument was produced and sold in the Brazilian market, and even today we can find its videos on YouTube by searching “Pífaro Moretto“.
He continued his studies at UNESP (University of the State of Sao Paulo), in the Bachelor of Physics, he went deep in the acoustics field, focusing his learning on the science of sound.
From 2011 he started working closely with acoustic and electrical guitar manufacturers in China, improving the line production, QC, designing special tools and machines for instruments manufacturing, also part of professional audio projects like loudspeakers and microphones.
In 2016 he started his firsts piano projects, working on digital piano shells and sound systems for digital pianos. Rewarded with three patents in China (so far), his designs are being mass produced by Fiorese Pianos and since 2017 been displayed in the largest musical instruments trade fair in Asia, Music China Shanghai.
